The package air conditioner Rooftop type is indicated for large environments and with a few partitions (walls), such as sheds, party halls, event tents, among others. It can be installed in the open, out of the environment that will be air-conditioned, obviating use of engine room.

The unit of measure used to classify these equipment is the TR (ton of refrigeration), and 1 TR equivalent to 12,000 BTU/HR (British Thermal Unit) or, in lay terms, is the effect of a ton of ice melting for a period of 24 hours.
